Free & Low Cost Drawing and CAD Tools

Best Practices
February 15, 2024

Virtually every remodeling project involves a set of plans or blueprints. Having a dedicated drawing / CAD tool is key for most contractors, as plans are required in order to apply for permits, set project schedules, and begin construction.

Clear Estimates focuses on the estimating side, to provide the best estimating solution possible. Clear Estimates does not include a drawing or CAD feature within the software, but we see many clients use external CAD tools to handle project drawings.

We’ve put together a list of cost effective and free drawing / CAD tools that you can use for your projects along with Clear Estimates.

Please note that we do not integrate directly with the tools listed below, but we do see many clients use solutions like these alongside Clear Estimates!
