This problem occurs because Clear Estimates allocates only a certain amount of space for text within the application. If your computer's display settings are such that application fonts are enlarged (bigger than the default value), strange formatting can result within Clear Estimates. Generally this issue arises for XP operating systems; in Vista these settings are buried a bit deeper so users are unlikely to make modifications.

To fix this:
  1. Click on Start then Control Panel.
  2. If control panel is set at Classic View, then double-click on the "Display" icon then go to the next step. If you are not in Classic View, click on "Appearance and Themes" and then click on "Display".
  3. A box will pop up. Click on the Settings tab.
  4. Click on Advanced.
  5. Change the DPI setting to Normal size (96 DPI).
Your computer will ask you to reboot your computer. Click Yes.
