I had been using other business programs in the past but the daily updating and re-entering of data was not very time conscious and I wasn't seeing my business grow. After doing my due diligence, almost all my sources pointed me to one program.....Clear Estimates.
This program is AMAZING! Clear Estimates, upon using it on its very first job, made me and extra $8000.00 in profit that I wouldn't have otherwise made. The platform is VERY easy to use and the way it's set up it's almost impossible to forget ANYTHING on an invoice. The data base of products and prices is not only current but extremely extensive. My clients love the Formal Proposal feature because it gives them a VERY detailed break down of their project costs, and if you want them to see less you can adjust that too. Over all I am EXTREMELY pleased with the program and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants to make MORE MONEY.

I'm writing to let you know how very pleased we are with your Home Remodeling Software. We sampled dozens, literally, before we chose yours from the internet. The download was fast and easy. I also appreciate having the CD in case we somehow have a hard drive problem…you never know!
Our main reason for needing your program was to improve the professional quality of our estimates and contracts. We are in the “Home Remodeling” business, not the professional typing business. I admit to spending many hours typing up templates and filling in the individual job information….and they never looked like yours! I am positive we have gotten many jobs due to the professional quality of our Clear Estimates presentation.
We submit an estimate to a customer, giving them a Preliminary Report, and we include a copy of the Project Information Sheet. This gives them a breakdown of the job costs and allows the customer to see where his money is going. Our feedback has been wonderful. I think the customer gets a sense that, as the contractors, we have nothing to hide showing them a detailed breakdown as opposed to just a bottom line price.
When we are awarded the job, I send a Formal Report giving one copy for the customer and one for our records. Any changes are easily done; add a payment schedule and we're good to go. It just couldn't be any easier. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to express my appreciation.

The system proved to be easy to use, clear to understand and, (I stress this) IMMEDIATELY made me more money per job. I missed many items prior to using Clear Estimates that ended up being "thrown in" to the job.

I wanted to let you know how much I like your program. Clear Estimates "thinks" the way I think in terms of my estimating style (sticks and bricks), but then it adds the capability of putting those “sticks and bricks” into a variety of assemblies which makes the estimating process so much quicker.
Like many small builder/remodelers, we do a wide variety of projects. It is hard to find an estimating program that is very adaptable but not too cumbersome. Because it is so easily customized, Clear Estimates allows us the ability to be as broad or as narrow in scope as the project requires. It then allows us to quickly print a linked Proposal automatically, containing all the details we considered for that project during the estimating process.
We have tried several other estimating programs and have attempted to customize Excel templates. For our business, your product is by far the best solution we have found.

After searching for the perfect estimating program designed for residential remodeling for years, I created my own on Excel Format. My system was using simple templates where we changed line items by hand - excruciatingly long but precise, itemized proposals. Changes and alternates were somewhat tricky.
As the number of our jobs has increased and are growing larger and more detailed, I went on the search again to find a user-friendly program that an entry-level assistant could handle. I started using Clear Estimates, at 4:00 pm and had the program operating on a room addition bid by 4:15. Awesome! No problems with download at all. Too bad I didn't start with your product!
We are trying out the system and finding the original set-up values to be so close to our costs, it's uncanny! Ease of use is definitely a benefit over integration with QuickBooks. We will be purchasing the program and I am glad to hear we can put it on our server. Look forward to using your system that is a perfect fit for our remodeling and additions.

I get excellent customer support. The software takes a little time to learn, but not unreasonable. As with pricing anything in construction....we need to put the correct data in. The most time consuming part is getting the correct information in the correct location. But once it is in there....it is an awesome tool.
Clear Estimates has definitely helped me get new business, and it has also helped me to insure that I cover "all the bases" while putting my bids together.
